A BIG thank you from the Indivisible Rockland Organizing Committee (IROC) to everyone who attended our meeting! We appreciate your time, patience, and commitment to our collective mission. We know everyone is excited, anxious, and ready to get involved - we have received all of your messages.  Please remember that we are a 100% volunteer organization working as quickly as possible to get information out to you.

We need YOU to be successful!  Please take three minutes to fill out this SURVEY we want your voice to shape our shared work.
 

Meeting Highlights:

  • What is Indivisible? A grassroots movement focused on strengthening democracy and advocating for progressive change. Sign up HERE for emails from Indivisible

  • Your Elected Officials: You now understand local, state, and federal representative structures and how to reach them for advocacy. For an up-to-date list of your Reps and their contact info, click HERE

  • Code of Conduct: Our meetings are a safe space for discussion and action, with guidelines ensuring respectful engagement.  To read our Code of Conduct, click HERE

  • Where Do We Go From Here? We discussed priorities and areas of focus for the organization, including direct action, policy, and community outreach. We are pleased to announce that IROC has signed on as Co-Sponsors to the Monday, Feb 17th Rally at Chuck Schumer's office with several other Indivisible Chapters. (Event link below.) There is strength in numbers and outreach and forming coalitions are key to this movement.  Resources for events will be available on our website as well as

  • Stay Engaged: Follow Indivisible Rockland on social media and support key initiatives. 

  • Economic Action: To make an economic impact, participate in February 28th's "A Day Without Our Dollars." No spending where possible!

  • Save the Date: March 9th, 2025, to commemorate the anniversary of Bloody Sunday; details will be released soon.

  • Next Meeting: Mark your calendar for March 15th. The location and Time are TBD. We want to ensure that we can accommodate everyone and that the meeting is accessible.
